Where we step into the wild to remember who we are.
Expeditions have been my greatest teachers. The desert, the deep, the ice, the mountains; they all strip away the noise and return us to what matters. Out there, leadership becomes visceral. Presence becomes non-negotiable. Every choice is a micro-move that shapes the path ahead.
I’ve spent two decades testing my limits across extreme distance, altitude, temperature, and depth—and every insight I bring into my leadership and coaching was forged in those environments. These journeys weren’t adrenaline pursuits. They were field studies in mindset, nervous-system mastery, resilience, strategy, and trust. The same skills leaders need when navigating uncertainty, crisis, and growth.
I’ve travelled through more than 80 countries, living much of my life overseas and working alongside Indigenous communities across the Asia-Pacific and African continents. Those partnerships taught me humility, regeneration, and what it means to lead with place, people, and planet in mind.
Below is a glimpse into some of the expeditions that shaped my approach. Each image holds a lesson I now bring into the coaching room—and soon, into the field with you.

A Few of My Boldest Expeditions
- Running 250 km across the Sahara, carrying everything I needed on my back.
- Freediving under ice without a wetsuit.
- Cycling 12,000 km across the African continent, with a broken collarbone.
- Traversing the Himalayas by mountain bike, pushing through altitude sickness at 5,400+ meters.
- Winning a marathon in Antarctica, in temperatures that freeze your eyelashes.
- Freediving to 50 meters, and sharing water with the largest animal on Earth—the blue whale which inspired me to become the first female freediving instructor in Timor-Leste, helping build a thriving local community of ocean athletes.
A Glimpse Into My Deep Leadership Workshops
How the ocean trained my mind (and can train yours)
Freediving is where everything I know about mindset, presence, and bold leadership snapped into focus. Diving on a single breath teaches you to quiet the noise, work with your nervous system, and trust yourself in moments that feel expansive or uncertain.
Below is a short video where I share what freediving means to me and why it’s become one of my greatest leadership teachers.
In my Deep Leadership workshops, I bring those principles to life in simple, accessible ways—often in a warm pool, with no deep dives required. It’s a powerful reset for your nervous system and a fresh lens on how you respond under pressure.
This is where things really start to shift.
